Data Services

We help companies create secure, scalable networks to grow with business demands. To keep up to date with the growth of demand in data, and the convergence of voice and data networks, it can pay to keep up to date with what’s available.

It’s a competitive market right now, and customers can and should take advantage.

Managed IPVPN

(IP Virtual Private Network)

Managed IPVPN brings together numerous traffic types, such as voice, video and data, into one streamlined IT network that gives each application the priority it needs.

It can connect all your sites into a secure network with the bandwidth and resilience that ensures systems access at all times from any site, including remote workers.

Creating a common network for voice and data reduces complexity and cost. The simplified WAN architecture offers lower costs, single-supplier management and a scalable, future-proof network able to grow with your business.

Internet VPN

Complementary to our Managed IPVPN and private network solutions, internet VPN allows you to connect your sites together using a secure encrypted transmission over our business-only internet access platform.

This is the most cost-effective means of carrying traffic between sites of different sizes and geographical locations. It is a quick way of connecting your sites together, and allows you to carry high volumes of time-sensitive data economically.

It is also very flexible, allowing you to introduce new locations and change access bandwidths rapidly, with no disruption to your business.

Private networks

If your sites are close together, private IT networks offer the highest levels of security and capacity available. Their fixed-line access services are highly robust and can often be designed with resilient circuit paths built in.

Complementary to our Managed IPVPN and internet VPN solutions, private networks are built using dedicated leased-line and/or Ethernet circuits to connect sites to each other, with no intervening ‘cloud’.

This is a cost-effective choice for short distances—a highly effective way of getting large amounts of data, voice and/or video traffic between sites securely and reliably.

Leased lines

Leased lines cover traditional fixed circuit technology and Ethernet services. Usually deployed over dedicated fibre-optic cables, leased lines are important for sites requiring reliable access to internet and/or Managed IPVPN networks, or simply to another site in their business IT network.

Unlike most broadband services, leased lines do not rely on complex packet networking, so they tend to be simple, reliable and highly predictable in terms of performance.
