Superfast Business Broadband
VDSL provides much improved speeds when compared to standard ADSL broadband. Our superfast service is completely unlimited and built to provide consistently high speeds, allowing businesses to take advantage of the latest internet technology.
Internet connectivity is now a vital service for most businesses. A service designed for business use can make sure the productivity benefits of internet connectivity are always there and not put at risk by inconvenient "slow-downs". Small business managers need to focus on running their businesses rather than worrying about their connectivity. A managed VDSL service from DV02 allows them to do that.
- Low costs – VDSL offers up to 80Mbps speeds at a very low cost, a great option for small businesses or a low cost backup option to other connections.
- Consistent speeds – Our service runs with very low contention, so with Easynet VDSL there is no “busy period” when users experience slower speeds – something which can harm productivity. Once installed and stabilised, speeds for our VDSL service will not vary.
- Managed service – Our VDSL is a managed service, so we manage every element of the service. We provide a business grade router pre-configured to work with your connection. We can also provide and manage the telephone connection your broadband will run over should you wish.
- Quality customer service – Should there ever be a problem with your service you can be confident of quick resolution. Our business support centre is available 24/7 staffed with experienced engineers.
How it works
VDSL is the latest version of superfast broadband technology already being used by many homes and businesses. It is delivered over a standard copper telephone line in the same way broadband is. However, fibre is used to connect from the street cabinet to your local exchange. The shorter length of copper line allows VDSL to offer downstream speeds of up to 80Mbps compared to the up to 20Mbps of ADSL used in standard broadband. Speed will vary dependant on the length of the telephone wire connecting your location to the street cabinet, but most customers will experience in excess of 30Mbps. VDSL is asynchronous, so upload speeds are limited to a maximum of 20 Mbps.
VDSL is just one of a portfolio of connectivity services available. Business ADSL, SDSL, SurestreamTM, EtherstreamTM and Fibre up to 1Gbps mean that whatever the requirements of your business, DV02 can help you make sure you have the right Internet access product.
