New Business Development Executive
Reports to: Sales and Marketing Director
Job Scope: Acquisition of Enterprise New Business (new logo), to meet set sales targets for the role
Location: Hoddesdon Office
Sales Territory: United Kingdom
Experience: Technology sector preferably communications
- To fully understand and be proficient in the selling of DV02 products and services.
- To create, build and maintain a sales pipeline of new prospects, sufficient to meet or exceed your annual sales target
- To arrange appointments to establish detailed requirements and present DV02 products and services using a variety of media
- To understand DV02’s proposition and create your social and business pitch.
- To acquire new business following the DV02’s documented processes and procedures
- To respond to formal tender opportunities in a timely and professional manner
- To follow up all sales enquires, provided and generated by DV02 & in a timely & professional manner
- To prepare quotations and proposals, presenting compelling business propositions that address the prospective clients business challenges
- To submit sales referrals to the DV02 Account Management team, where applicable
- To interface with operational, finance, and IT colleagues at all levels to ensure a high standard of service and efficient new client setup
- To produce accurate Sales Reports and regular client and sales management information for the needs of the business as and when required
- To attend meetings and conference calls as required, providing input relevant to the NBDE role and client needs
- Attend networking and Industry events when appropriate and required.
- To support and attend DV02 events, eg breakfast meetings / seminars when required
- To attend and participate in any training sessions required
- To keep abreast of competitor offerings within the marketplace and feed back to management and colleagues
- To respond to requests for information from DV02 management concisely and within requested reasonable timescales
- To maintain up to date sales account plans for all significant opportunities. Illustrating existing contracted services & expiry dates. Increasing DV02’s consideration rate for future sales opportunities.
